About OnlyNotepad

OnlyNotepad is a calm, free online notepad. Open the page and start writing: there's no account, and every note saves in your browser as you type.

What it is

A plain, fast place to write. You get text notes and checklists, a notes list with search, three themes (Night sky, Forest and Desert dusk), a choice of serif, sans or monospace type, and a Zen mode that hides everything except the page.

Your notes are saved in your browser's storage on the device you're using. They aren't uploaded to a server, so they don't sync between devices. You can download any note as a .txt file, or print it and save it as a PDF.

Who it's for

• Anyone who needs to jot something down quickly without signing up for anything.
• Writers who want a quiet page with nothing else competing for attention.
• People keeping to-do lists, shopping lists or meeting notes on their own computer or phone.
• Anyone on a shared or work machine who can't install an app, as long as they remember notes stay in that browser.

How it's funded

OnlyNotepad is free to use and supported by ads from Google AdSense. Ads appear beside or below the editor, never inside your notes. You can read how that works in the privacy policy.
